Shannon leverages her experience in complex commercial litigation and criminal defense to represent and advise companies, c-suite executives, and prominent figures facing reputational crises and defamatory attacks from the media and corporate competitors. She has secured fairer and more accurate media coverage for clients in a wide range of industries including fashion, entertainment, tech, hospitality, architecture, construction, non-profit, and healthcare. Shannon has prevented the publication of misleading stories and has scored countless retractions, corrections, and public apologies from prominent media outlets including Fox News, the Associated Press, Reuters, USA Today, Business Insider, The Daily Mail, and Rolling Stone, among others.

Shannon has extensive experience in all stages of litigation, including discovery, motions practice, trial, and appeals.  In addition to defamation, she has represented defendants and plaintiffs in tortious interference and unfair trade practices litigation, shareholder disputes, fiduciary duty litigation, employment disputes, contract disputes, civil conspiracy claims, fraud claims, and criminal appeals.
